We are still getting situated into our new place.  It's nice to have everything here.  No storage.  We can go through things as we would like.

How is life...

Two and a half months have passed and my little girl is growing by leaps and bounds. She was weighed two weeks ago and came in at 13.7lbs and 24 in long. Had her first set of shots and we found her to already have a tooth coming in. What a big girl she is.

Logan is so helpful with her. He talks to her. Holds her. Kayleigh will just watch him, staring at him so long. Those two are my world.

I had to go into the hospital yesterday. They found that I had a large kidney stone, 7-8 mm. They went in with a scope and laser today. It was zapped and a stent was installed for a week to make sure everything finds its way out. It was/is very painful. Worse then childbirth.

Everything/everyone else is doing great. We are looking into moving and that, while trying, has moments of fun. I can't wait to really leave the chill of the snow behind. It is not our cup of tea.

Two months

I can't believe it's been two months already.  I'm amazed by her every day.  Her smile, her eyes, even her cry makes me happy. 

She is growing by leaps and bounds.  Goes in next week for her shots and I feel bad about it but I know they will only help her.  She weighs almost 12 pounds now.  Is 24 inches long.  She will be tall like her father and brother of this I don't doubt.

Kayleigh is really a dream come true!

New year!!!

A whole new addition and a great start to the new year. Kayleigh is growing more and more. Over 11 pounds now. She smiled at my most of the morning.

I'm so in love with her.

Precious and sweet. Sure she has her baby moments but they don't last at all.

Logan is so helpful too. Holding and watching her. Throwing things away. What an amazing big brother he is.

Well mother duty calls!!!

Yes she is!

Almost a month old and she still gets more and more beautiful. My heart is so full of love for her. It amazes me.

I'm often reminded in those moments how much I love my family. How lucky I am to have a great husband, a beautiful boy, and precious little girl. I still can't believe it.

Logan had his holiday concert. He was perfect in it. Sang his little heart out. Talk about being a proud parent. He is such a good kid.

He is also so helpful with his sister. For that I'm grateful. We did have moments of acting out and I'm sure we will have one or two more. He has been an only child for seven years.

I'll be patient...

Well as much as I can be. That's something I'm working on. ;)

Seriously though. I love putting those cute little girlie things on Kayleigh. Little hats and such. I need headbands for her now. I'm hoping she doesn't hate me when she's older.

My guess is it's just typical mom/daughter stuff. That still sounds so strange saying I have a daughter. Amazing and wonderful though.
